The near future. Despite years of training and sacrifices, a disabled athlete wearing revolutionary prosthetic limbs beats Killian, a young athletic champion, at the world championships… This unexpected victory marks the beginning of a new era: from now on, the “enhanced” are far more efficient than the “functional” … But Killian wants his revenge. In order to beat his rival and claim back his title, he’s now ready to do anything. Including becoming himself, “enhanced ». In order to save his grandmother and also fulfill his passion, Kilian makes the decision to accept the surgery. He will struggle a lot to make his come-back a successful reality. But there is another price to pay. While approaching the final race, Killian will be hit by fatal issues, but maybe, in some way, has he found himself also as a kind of achievement.

In early 1977 when Nick “Topper” Headon auditioned for The Clash, he just wanted to make a name for himself. The Clash auditioned 207 drummers, but Topper’s talent stood out. It was with him that The Clash took on an unmeasurable dimension, and it was without him that the beginning of the end began to loom. Topper got trapped by the addictions, all of them, and ended up homeless, bankrupt and busking in the underground. And yet he still lives at a hundred miles an hour like a teenager whose boundless energy is impossible to channel, as if he thinks youth is eternal and he can catch it on the hop. Topper fought the law, and the law won, but he also fought life, and that’s a different story.

I want to document my journey, my emotions, my hopes and my questions about my dual identity. I want to become French, out of love, out of desire, out of envy. But does this choice imply renunciation?
